'89 Cheyenne
In the Fall of 1989, this Chevy "C-1500" long-bed pickup was purchased new (as a factory left-over).
It came equipped with the "Cheyenne" trim package, 2 wheel drive, a 4.3 liter V6, and a 4-speed automatic.

Some mild custom work was accomplished, prompted (in part) by a fender-bender with a drowsy limo-driver.
A grill insert from a 1990 "W/T" (Chevy work truck) took the place of the standard Cheyenne
face-piece.

The standard "black" side mirrors were replaced by chrome after-market units.

The stock 15" Chevy wheels were replaced by steel "American Racing" wagon wheels, which were painted "brandywine red" to match the truck.
The Tires are BF Goodrich T/A Radials.

The original tailgate had a white "Chevrolet" decal, which was standard Cheyenne trim.
In 1996 the truck was repainted, and a "Chevrolet" embossed emblem was installed on the tailgate (which is typical Silverado trim).

The rear bumper was discarded, and in its place is a splash pan that sports "Corvette" style tail-lights.

Other after-market items installed on the truck include a soft tonneau cover (the rail-system type), a "hidden hitch" trailer bar, and a sliding rear window.
